POPPY ROSE

Poppy Rose is a brand with a personal connection as it was previously owned by us. We knew first hand the limitations holding the business back online. The existing WooCommerce site had run its course, and it was time for a platform that could better support both the customer journey and the day-to-day demands of the team behind it.

The goal was clear: migrate to Shopify and build something that felt as considered and premium as the brand itself.

We designed the new website on Shopify from the ground up, selecting a premium theme as the foundation and customising it extensively to match the brand's aesthetic and functional needs. Rather than an out-of-the-box result, every detail was refined to feel intentional.

Beyond the design, a suite of apps and custom solutions were implemented to streamline operations and enhance the experience end-to-end. The result is a Shopify store that not only looks the part, but runs smoothly behind the scenes, giving the Poppy Rose team less to worry about and their customers more to love.

FEATURES

  • An app was installed to give customers visibility and control over their delivery, reducing friction at checkout.

  • Custom code was written to collect personalised gift messages directly in the cart, adding a thoughtful touch to the gifting experience.

  • A prompted pop-up was implemented to encourage customers to add gifts to their order, designed to increase average order value at a key moment in the buying journey.

  • A dedicated app was integrated to keep customers informed post-purchase and provide proof of delivery confirmation. On the operations side, it also gave the driving team a clear view of their deliveries and the ability to manage their route, streamlining the entire fulfilment process end-to-end.

  • Templates were tailored to print orders directly to a label machine, saving the team time and creating a more professional fulfilment process.

  • An app was set up to manage both Google reviews and on-site product reviews, building trust and social proof.

  • The Meta Pixel was installed and the store connected to social shopping channels, opening up seamless purchase pathways through Facebook and Instagram.

  • Product labels were configured in line with real-time inventory levels to ensure a smooth customer experience, preventing customers from reaching the date picker only to find their chosen product wasn't available for same-day delivery.

  • Buy-now-pay-later options were enabled at checkout, reducing purchase hesitation and catering to customers who prefer flexible payment.

  • Klaviyo was integrated for email marketing and data collection, giving the team the tools to build automations, capture customer behaviour and drive repeat purchases.
